Long Island Town of the Week: Smithtown

We were driving through Suffolk county along the Jericho Turnpike, this past Sunday and decided to check out some towns. We pasted Centerport, Huntington, Ft. Solonga (Fort Solonga), Kings Park, and others. All tows with great names. Smithtown had it all. We ended up on Route 347 North and passed the Smithtown Mall, Border's Book Store in Stony Brook, Setauket, and more. Smithtown has many Asian restaurants, Mexican eateries, car dealers, big shopping centers, a nice village, and it's own LIRR train station to boot. Smithtown, New York gets our vote for Long Island town of the Week.
